2013 Referee
Recertification Requirements for Grades 5,6 & 7.
(07-18-12)
During the July 30, 2009 Colorado Joint Referee Committee (CJRC) meeting, a motion requiring Grade 7 referees to successfully complete a maintenance assessment for recertification was unanimously passed. This is in effect for the 2013 registration year. You are still required to complete your Clinic, Written Test and Fitness Test by December 31, 2012 to satisfy your Registration requirements for your 2013 registration.
Effective with the 2013 registration, the assessment, along with the fitness test, written test and attendance at a recertification clinic, will need to be completed before you are approved for Grade 7 status. After attending an ARTS or Super Saturday recertification clinic, passing the written exam and completing the maintenance assessment, you will be recertified for the 2013 registration year. You will have until December 31, 2012 to pass the maintenance assessment for your 2013 registration. If you fail to do so, you will be downgraded to Grade 8 status for the 2013 registration year. The assessment fee is $55.00. Please contact Carl Rollins, the State Director of Assessment, to schedule your Assessment once you have completed your fitness test, paid your assessment fee and attended a recertification clinic.
